A shampoo created for hair that feels rough, dry or worn out from regular styling, weather exposure and everyday haircare habits.

About Dove Intense Repair Shampoo

Hair doesn't always feel damaged overnight.

Sometimes it becomes noticeable little by little. The ends may start feeling rough, brushing may take longer than usual or the hair may simply lose some of its softness.

Dove Intense Repair Shampoo is part of a range aimed at dry and damaged hair. It is intended for cleansing while fitting into routines focused on smoother, softer-looking hair.

This is a repair-focused shampoo for hair lengths and texture concerns. It is not a dandruff treatment or scalp-care product.

Common reasons people choose it:

• Dry hair
• Rough texture
• Frizz-prone lengths
• Hair that feels harder to manage
• Signs of everyday wear and tear

Why Repair Shampoos Remain Popular

Not every shampoo is selected for the same reason.

Some people want stronger cleansing. Others are looking for moisture or smoothness.

Repair shampoos are usually chosen when the hair itself feels less healthy than before.

Common reasons include:

• Hair feels rough after washing
• Ends look dry
• Styling takes more effort
• Hair feels less smooth
• Detangling becomes difficult

What The Shampoo Feels Like

The formula creates a creamy lather during washing and is intended for regular use.

After rinsing, many people describe the hair as feeling softer and easier to manage compared with before washing.

Things people often mention:

• Hair feels smoother
• Lengths feel softer
• Hair is easier to comb through
• Styling feels more manageable
• Hair appears less rough

Results naturally vary depending on hair condition and routine.

About The Intense Repair Range

The shampoo belongs to Dove's Intense Repair collection.

Because of that, it is often used alongside matching conditioners or other products from the same range.

Many people build a complete routine around products aimed at dryness and damage concerns rather than relying on a single step.

How It Fits Into A Routine

Regular wash days:

Apply to wet hair and massage gently through the scalp and lengths.

For dry hair routines:

Many people follow with conditioner after shampooing.

Before styling:

The shampoo is often used as part of a routine before blow-drying or heat styling.

Things That Can Affect Results

• Frequent heat styling
• Colour or chemical treatments
• Very hot water
• Skipping conditioner
• Overwashing dry hair

Hair condition is influenced by habits as much as products.
